During the quarantine, I watched a historical TV documentary for the third time- the Rise of Great Powers which records the successive rise of nine countries since the Age of Navigation. Inspired by that, I drew a series of illustrations. When I saw Asian heroism, my first reaction was the rise of Asian individualism. We are more concerned about individual rights and independence. Me and we also want to be remembered by history and this is exactly in progress. I recreated symbolic elements into one illustration using collage.
