Oil on Paper

I am an artist who uses color to explore and express the feelings of loneliness and isolation as well as positive energy and create some sculpture and focus on painting. My works blend both candid and surreal visual elements, and usually depict lone figures in socially isolated environments and try to approach people with curiosity, mainly through a fantastic and dreamy atmosphere. In the paintings in particular, I hope to convey a sense of some of those rather sublime moments of transcendence one can feel in times of intense or extreme transition. My palette can shift from having a rather dark and melancholy look in some areas, to being almost over-charged with color in other areas. The person’s eyes also give a living feeling by communicating with the emotions expressed in the background. The bright pastel tone of beautiful colors and aura contrasted with melancholy emotions, and the working atmosphere seemed alive and interesting. A hidden face in the work, or a body expression hidden from something, is an expression of a hidden emotion that comes to mind in a life that is not always pleasant. By expressing these elements through my work, I allow viewers who feel lonely and isolated to find their own aura and shelter in their hearts.
